We have created a short video to celebrate EcoSikh’s first 18 months. It shows the highlights of Sikh Environment Day (the first with more than 450 gurdwaras and schools and others participating, the second with more than 1000), the inauguration of the Green Pilgrimage Network with Amritsar as a founding member, and our work with green and greener gurdwaras.
But most of all it shows the extraordinary energy coming from within the Sikh community to protect the environment because it is inscribed deep within our faith that we should do this. And it shows a great hope for the years to come in Punjab and other areas where Sikhs live, with the community supporting the protection of this wonderful world.
